Academics

Stage 1
You will become familiar with basic diving principles and procedures. For example, you will learn the effects of pressure on your body, how to choose the right equipment, considerations for planning dives and more. You will use PADI's Online Training to complete the academics on your own time, at your own pace.

Confined Water Dives

Stage 2
During this step, you will dive in our onsite, heated swimming pool and develop the basic scuba skills necessary to safely dive. You will learn how to set up your diving equipment, how to control your buoyancy, dive with a buddy and several other important and fun skills. The skills learned in our pool will prepare you for the open water dives in Step Three. In addition, you wll spend a short time in the classroom learning about additional diving opportunities, planning for dive travel and more.

Open Water Dives

Stage 3
Get excited to experience everything you have learned with the freedom of open water. As soon as your open water training dives are approved by your instructor, you will be a certified diver. PADI Open Water Diver certification is recognized worldwide so your diving experiences will be limitless.

What Do I Need to Bring to My Lesson?
Students will need to bring a scuba quality mask, fins and a snorkel. A wetsuit can be handy if you get cold easily.
What Is the Minimum Age for Dive Courses?
PADI Seal team is 8 yrs old.
Discover Scuba age is 10 yrs old.
Junior Scuba Diver age is 10-15 years old.
Adult open water diver starts at 16.
Where can I purchase supplies?
You can go to a dive shop or online. I use Sugarland Dive center. You can also look at scuba.com or diversdirect.com.
Can I Rent the Equipment?
I can rent tanks and regulators, but it’s dependent on class schedules. Tanks are $10 a day and regulators are $20 a day.
